T-18 Assistance Droid:

Standing at around 1.2 Meters (4ft) ,and powered by a single baseline cold fusion battery unit, allowing it to run for decades, this compact droid is a favorite of many, from cafes and restaurants to the homes of the people. Given a few nicknames such as "Handy", and "Helperbot", this droid started out very differently. Its original intent was for the front lines, designed to reload heavy artillery cannons. However as it went into production officers saw its use in other ways, though it was only given basic A.I (This is common practice, as too advanced of an A.I may lead to a development of an artificial conscience!) Soldiers were often found interacting with droids when off duty, chatting with them, and even playing games with them once they could train it to do so. After dozens of reports the Department of Automation and Robotics (D.A.R) took another look at the droids potential, coming up with a newer, more friendly, but simple A.I.

Soon, the T-18 model was given civilian product status by the Ministry of Production, which rolled out the first line by around August of 2455, and it was a success! People loved it for its easy to maintenance components and charming personality and appearance. Even government officials took interest in it, with several party members owning at least one in their home. Assistance droids were simple in design, allowing for modifications to be introduced, making it easy for them to take on a variety of roles, such as the police variant, which replaced legs with a single magna-ball and its right arm for a multi-level taser. The T-18 droid has certainly become a friendly everyday item!

T-30 Strategic Assault Droid:

Sometimes referee to as "Brutus", this 2 Meter tall (6ft) beast is powered by two Baseline cold fusion battery units, but there are plans to replace it with a single downsized cell unit. Designed now as a rolling gun platform, standing on four legs with 4 magna-balls to cruise through the battlefield, striking fear into the enemy as it tears them apart. However this droid was never supposed to exist! Originally, A large frame with basic components was made to test how far they could push the fusion battery, as time went on, it was supposed to be scrapped. However, one of the robotics engineers was more interested in further pushing this project, designing a large droid he said would be great for defending warships and military bases. When the prototype was brought to the Party, it had potential, not just for defense, but much more. They invested, around a year or two later, a much more recognizable assault droid rolled out, A beast of steel and wires, it was introduced to the public by October of 2457 during the "Brilliant Minds of Mankind" event.

"Brutus" now is used as both a defense and offense war unit, being able to be equipped with a variety of weapons, from its most common used and seen triple barrel Hyphon Assault Cannon, to a set of plasma accelerator cannons to reduce the enemies to a boiling, bubbling pile of sludge. The droid possesses only a few, such as the open panels on the back of it legs, the fiber cable muscles, which are mostly covered by thick shells of metal. Along with the large camera eye head, which while a powerful shot to its lens can put it out, you can also try ripping it out, not an easy task, both for its secure fitting and the fact you actually need to reach the droid. Overall, the T-30 is a beast, A rolling titan of pli-steel and thick cables, designed for combat and defense. If you ever get the chance to own one, you can rest knowing your home is safe, as this thing can run for decades with little repairs.

Short history of Cold Fusion Power Units:
Cold Fusion, the miracle energy of the future, helped shaped mankind's future long after the reconstruction age. But it didn't just appear, before even fission, humanity had once more resorted to fossil fuels to power their technology, as Earth regained strength, the newly formed republic pushed to keep the blessed home world safe, and one step to that was to cut carbon emissions. Utilising help from the Terris, Nuclear power became possible once again, and soon, fission became more and more mainstream by the 2320s. This period of Nuclear hype was never before seen, was known as the Neo-Early Atomic Age(aka, the most batshit period, you kinda just needed to be there, massive amounts of nuclear waste being thrown into gas giants, or snuck into Arkiahn Civilian worlds during the age of the Empire later on.) This period saw massive progress, but also massive dangers, nuclear waste, the devouring of Earth's Uranium deposits (The Nuclear Rush) and early fission batteries being known for having occasional defects, where the battery's shut down procedure would jam and refuse to shut down, continuing the fission reaction and with no way to release the power from the small unit, car owners risked switching their car on, only causing the fission battery to explode! By the end of the Neo-Mid Atomic Age, there were hundreds of old fission plants left to ge broken down, Truly a time to be alive. By the age of the Empire, research was poured into Fusion, A safer form of harnessing the power of the atom, and by September of 2401, A breakthrough led to the creation of the first reliable Fusion power plant, the discovery broke media, and humanity entered a new dawn, thirty years later, cold fusion refined the use of fusion, however it should be noted, cold fusion is still new, and regular fusion can still be found plenty.
Cold Fusion Battery Unit: A small, compact unit of Fusion energy, around 12-15cm (5-6 inches) in diameter and 20cm (8 inches) length, it is commonly used in house hold and commercial appliances, along with small vehicles and droids.
Cold Fusion Cell Unit: A larger unit, around 20cm (8 inches) in diameter, and 35.5cm (14 inches) in length, this power pack can be found in large droids, commercial and civilian vehicles, along with heavy military vehicles and equipment.
Cold Fusion Reactor Core Unit:This massive power unit is utilized in both Power plants and starships.

Cold Fusion Powerplant: Produced cold fusion power to a district, whether that is city, agricultural, industrial or other, often uses multiple Cold fusion Cores and reactors.

The truth is, your right. Couldn't help myself as the sentry bot was the only thing I could think of while trying to get an idea for the assault droid. May try working the design, but idk, kinda like it too much lol 😭✌
