Conservatism relates to stability, keeping the things that work well. For instance: GAS & OIL, & not cutting off America’s DOMESTIC supply of the very thing that the world runs on. (Even if a country wants/needs to “Go Green,” you don’t stop gas & oil, & THEN build the green infrastructure).
So, America NEEDS oil exploration & extraction, & to be SELF-sufficient in a world of gas & oil consumption — INSTEAD OF Importing everything you need, & being beholden to foreign adversaries for your oil.
To further that end… Trump’s efforts to bring America back to Gas & Oil INDEPENDENCE (which Trump had done for America, but FJB —& FJB Voters— completely reversed, making USA Energy-DEPENDENT), Trump wanted to drill in the Gulf of Mexico. But… NOOOO. FJB —& FJB Voters— FROZE ALL Drilling & Exploration in the Gulf of Mexico.
Ok… two can play at that game. No drilling in the Gulf of MEXICO. FJB —& FJB Voters— get to have their cake. And Trump gets to eat it.
