Yeah I know Israel's government has done bad things, my point is that this person doesn't know about those things

The sheer amount of Jews which support the government of Israel imply that, if it were an evil thing to support the state of Israel, then one could conclude that Jews are genetically predisposed towards being evil, which goes against what you've previously told me about how you feel about Jews.

Since I do not think that Jews are predisposed towards being evil, I have concluded that the ones who do support Israel have done so out of ignorance, and that if they truly understood the level of what Israel has done in Gaza they would not support the government of Israel. So therefore I think it is not "unlikely" and is in fact perfectly reasonable to assume that the average "Zionist" is not intentionally being evil, but rather still has the flawed idea of Jews as a people which can only be the victim and can never be the aggressor.
