Jokes and snark aside, this thing
with y'all continually going back
to the "Pelosi's fault" well over
Jan. 6th is really getting
stupid. And I know you
probably won't take time
to think on what I'm about
to say because that would
wreck the dogmatic talking
point. But I'ma say it anyway. The intel arm of the U.S. is subordinate to the
President. Steven Sund, House Sergeant-at-
Arms, de facto chief of security for the Capitol
at the time, argued *under oath* that he was
furnished no threat-level data indicating
National Guard deployment was warranted. As Trump was in control of the United States'
intel arm, dangled the option of a National Guard
security detachment absent justification, how can
Pelosi be to blame for making the choice not to opt
for what -sans threat data- would be a wasteful
expenditure? Further, the crowd that attacked the Capitol was
the same crowd which attended the 1/6 rally on
the Ellipse. Ergo, if there was credible threat of
violence, Trump should have taken the initiative,
summoned a NG security detail beforehand. He
didn't. And yet you fault Pelosi for not requesting
a NG security presence when the person with
authority to order NG deployment *ostensibly*
also didn't think it was necessary. And finally, when the s--- started
hitting the fan, where was the
NG? Why didn't the only person
with direct authority to order
its deployment -whom is
documented to have been
watching the insurrection
play out on live TV- step up,
live up to his duty to defend
America from all threats
foreign and domestic?
