A study from 2005 showed that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)was effective at stopping the replication of the SARS coronavirus. The researchers believed that HCQ would even be prophylactic against the SARS coronavirus.
SARS is 85 to 90% the same DNA as the SARS CoV2 virus, otherwise known as COVID-19.
