The 15th Doctor's Future selves will continue adventuring & saving the universe. The sedentary Curator is not a future version of that lively Doctor. But remember how the 15th split off from the 14th?
The 14th imitated the appearance of the 10th. He also said he wanted to retire. He'll open a museum to commemorate his accomplishments, & possibly those of his other self as well. When he regenerates he'll
imitate the appearance of the fourth doctor.
