Play however you want, it’s a sandbox game, but why play survival mode if there’s no penalty for not surviving, right?

Well sometimes death will sneak up on you ie: skeletons, creepers, pits. You shouldn’t be punished for being caught off guard by a surprise

I mean, that’s part of the game though. You’re supposed to watch your surroundings. Though, there is a bug on bugrock where creeper hisses don’t play, so if you have it turned on because of bugs I can totally understand

Well let’s say that you’re cornered and surrounded by mobs in a cave, and they kill you before you can do anything about it. I feel like it would be extremely frustrating to lose all your items because of that and it would just be easier to have keep inventory on

Water bucket counters that, but again it’s completely fine to use the setting I just don’t get why anyone uses it

Place the bucket at your feet and the water will push back all the mobs, skeletons can still shoot you but you can just block them or shoot back

Keep inventory is probably my favorite addition in the game because you dont have to spend your time grinding netherite gear again

agreed, but i think the setting is for people who want a more relaxed survival experience where they don't have to stress about items
