So the thing inside the red circle is where they do the readings, the final reading is always from one of the gospels, and only the Priest (Pastor) or the Deacon will read the gospel, then when the gospel is done being read then the priest or the deacon will do the Homily (Preaching), then after all of that stuff then the priest and deacon will move to the alter which is in the blue circle, which is where they will then do the sacraments, which is where the bread and wine then turns into Jesus's body and blood (Which i get why people find that extremely hard to believe, but i do).
The pews are where everybody else sits during mass, they are pretty much really long benches. I think i have only been to a protestant church once during their mass (Or if they have a different word for mass), and they have some differences, such as the music, which i sometimes prefer at protestant churches, but it depends on how it is done. The people at protestant churches also seem a lot more social compared to catholic churches.
Do you have any other differences i left out, or things i may have missed? I have been getting into the differences between the different churches and all of that.
