A new bot got implemented at 12 am yesterday and started flagging shit as nsfw like crazy, even though said stuff wasn’t nsfw at all. Andrew stated he thought we were manually marking it as nsfw because nothing appeared in the mod logs, even though that would appear in the mod logs if we manually marked it. So we think it got attached to the current automatic flagger that flags images when “f**k” is used, though that can’t be the case because then we’ed have an option to remove the ruling. Acuity also stated he supported the bot flagging images that aren’t nsfw and are otherwise completely fine because of the image’s “accidental effects.” Deadass they said that marking an image nsfw was fine because the image had a cigarette in it and it may encourage people go start smoking.
