music production is such a slippery slope like it starts off small, you buy a 100$ daw maybe a 100$ midi controller, but then the drum pads suck, so you buy a 250$ sampler, but all the free samples suck so you buy a 500$ turntable, but oh no your computer mic sucks so you buy a $100 mic and a $100 audio interface, but now your room sounds weird in the mic, and you buy studio foam pads, and vsts, and analog synths, and now you’re broke but at least you made half a cool beat
