Difficulty is customizable. I highly recommend booting the obstacles to 200% and leaving everything else at 100%. Obstacles actually give an advantage to gameplay when you do a near-miss and gain energy or health for it. Plus obstacles just make the game more fun.
I was sad that a lot of the stuff from the demo was missing in the first shard, but by the time I got to the third shard, my fears were put to rest. The third shard is without doubt the most fun one so far.
And they added an ENDLESS MODE?????? My favorite thing in any video game??????
