Unions hire mobsters to bribe democrat politicians because the lowest common denominator of employees can not compete in a merit-based business. Only the worst employees need unions.

Clever up my wayward friend! Every politician in Washington is bought and paid for by corporations who undermine essential worker’s protection. Don’t hate the player, hate the game! The lowest common denominator is your 60 yr old father who is not as strong or as educated as the newer,younger members who are eager to replace him. It is a model based on compassion, and respect for exemplary service! ANSWER THIS PLEASE

Unions protect the incompetent, reward time over talent and needlessly increase costs of everything they touch

They protect employees against discharge without cause. Protect health and safety against those who undermine them. Protect elderly employees who would be arbitrarily fired, and replaced with someone younger. A collective agreement is a charter of rights. You haven’t done enough to support it and your middle class is disappearing!

The unions are the ones that killed the middle class. Their exorbitant demands for wages they don’t begin to deserve are why jobs were shipped overseas

Let’s speak of exorbitant executive salaries. The jobs went overseas because of the greed of corporations and parasitical shareholders who never worked a day in their lives. Manufacturing jobs have been replaced by robots, and AI will eliminate most of the rest. Berate unions as you choose. You know it’s a straw man designed to draw the applause of the peanut gallery!!!

If employees feel they are being treated fairly, and with respect, then a union is unnecessary.

And the younger guy in a union seeing his progress being hindered by the old useless fart that won’t retire is being treated with respect?

Unions ‘20’s through the ‘50 were good, honorable people that helped build America

I was President of a Local with 400 members. From my experience, union officers are committed to the welfare of members as much as they ever were! As for intelligence, I’m here to match mine against any SCAB out there. Consider someone who refuses to pay taxes, yet enjoy all the benefits of those who do.
