I run it on my dad's old gaming laptop that he didn't use for gaming, but now it overheats unless i play really old games on it, so i kinda am forced to have windows 7 on it. And i don't want to get Linux on it because my family sometimes uses it, and because of the nostalgia.

I'm not sure about the model number, but it's gateway, and has two giant letters on the lid, which are "FX", so i'm guessing that might be a series of models perhaps.

I don't think Gateway exists anymore, because i can't find their website when looking for drivers for this thing.

Here is the exact laptop. My dad bought it back around 2008 - 2009 so he could use a program called "Poser 8", and he got the best laptop he could afford. It came preinstalled with Windows Vista, which is such a terrible OS that he went and bought a Windows 7 CD, which i still have.

The laptop definitely has a severe problem with the CPU i'm guessing.
