So someone on imgflip is paying them for their comic being posted here? I think not.......doesn't matter if the name is on it, copyright means you ask permission to use and generally means the artist is being compensated....don't think anyone is asking the artist their permission or paying them smh

Imgflip wouldn't even exist if copyright holders actually enforced their copyrights on people sharing the countless memes originated from just about every piece of media.

However, they sometimes turn a blind eye because memes aren't usually sold for money on Imgflip, so damages are minimal. Sometimes it even benefits them because of free publicity associated with the memes.

Well, let's not start getting them noticed....it's not that hard to "remove" the copyright part from an image if people would do it

yeah no, it aint for criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research so it ain't fair use.....it isn't hard to "edit" the image to avoid issues.....

I'm practicing creativity by my own because I will be CAREFUL with using copyrighted stuff.
