Remoraid is a combination of archer fish and remora, and you’ll notice it’s kind of shaped like a gun (revolver for reference).
It evolves into Octillery, which at first doesn’t make sense. However, the entire line seems to be referencing weapons rather than animals, so if Remoraid is a gun, Octillery is the tank.
