All life on earth shares common ancestry. You and I even share common ancestry with COVID-19 and shower curtain mold. Just because we do doesn’t put us all on the same branch. Be sure you understand what you’re mocking or you just look stupid

I understand common ancestry but I interpret it in light of a Creator creating lifeforms to inhabit the
eco-systems and environment of the Earth & also re-using common elements within many of those lifeforms according to the principles of "Mass manufacturing, also known as mass production, which is the process of producing large quantities of standardized products for efficiency."

Regarding your resorting to the standard evolutionist ad hominem attack: "you just look stupid" I assumed you were looking in a mirror at that time & misinterpreted whose image it was."

If I told you that Creationism is wrong because according to Creationism God consulted Satan before making any creatures you would rightly tell me that I need to understand Creationism properly before attacking it. Which is what I’m telling you about Evolution. No Evolutionist believes humans descended from bananas.

Now, just one comment on common design. Most mammals have the ability to synthesize vitamin C and do not require it in their diets. We humans have the gene for it, but it is broken for us, hence we must get it in our diets. Does your god hate sailors to afflict them with scurvy?

DNA is a system of complex & intricate biological codes, designed not randomly evolving, to produce & reproduce living creatures adapted to the Earth's complex & intricate ecological biosphere.
