Everyone you know and love will die, and you will live on. Isn't that majorly depressing to think about? Watching everyone around you just go to the afterlife while you can't die in any way until that 5 millionth year is reached. Then, you'll die, with no one to remember your name, and no relatives around to honour your legacy. That's depressing.

humans cannot age indefinitely without dying. "aging", or senescence, is largely caused by your cells deteriorating and eventually reaching their preset "death timer" that every person has built in. essentially, it would not be possible to live that long while still aging at a normal rate. i suppose i could age slower, but at the end of my life i would still be as capable as a person in their 80s-90s
