it mustve just been a mistake when learning. like for the longest time i kept spelling it sudo, the way to spell it when you are using linux kernal. pesudo is the correct spelling and i use that word more than the average person.

yeah i think phrases are just based on culture and what you learn.
for example I (Australian) have only heard 'I cant be bothered to ___', whereas you (NZ) may have heard something else.
