I was too young to understand anything political when Obama was the president, but I distinctly remember my parents always talking about how awful he was. It wouldn't be until about halfway through Trump's first term that I would be able to realize what I *THOUGHT* was the full extent of what a vile human being Obama is.
Watching the 2024 election coverage with my family as an adult and seeing that Trump's electoral vote count had shot up to 267 is a memory I will never forget. Seeing my parents go absolutely nuts when they realized it as well was glorious. And now, watching them realize the illegitimate 44th "president" could finally wind up behind bars is just as great. I just wish my grandma was alive to see it (she passed away in 2023), because I know she would have been ecstatic too.
