I now have A LOT OF 3-stars characters (there aren't any 4 or 5 stars characters, you have to upgrade them by yourself)
and no it's not scammy, the game devs are generous (you missed 100-free pulls event)

... Ok last question... IS IT HARDER to get stuff when your high level when ur grinding because alot of new players are so privileged with in game rewards that new players barley get shot and have to grind the shit out the game while new players ( like me) get the entire world for free...
