The second layer of top coat made the silver drybrushing a lot more subtle but I think it actually improved the look a bit

Thinking of saving up for Sahelanthropus next, which is basically Rex but humanoid

... Though it can transform to look a lot more similar to Rex

If you do try something bigger I recommend basically any Gundam kit. MGR is from a different brand but by the complexity I'd say it's roughly equivalent to a master grade Gundam

So it's sort of mid-range in terms of difficulty, and I'd guess kotobukiya's other metal gear kits are about the same

It's actually the same scale as an MG Gundam too, 1/100
