Done with drybrushing. I didn't say this in a post but the weathering sets either didn't work or I was just using them wrong, so I tried drybrushing for the first time and it turned out GLORIOUS; THIS is the result I expected from the weathering sets, but now I know a technique that only requires me to grab a frickin paper towel; I'll add the final layer of top coat tomorrow so I'm sure everything is dry | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Honestly I'm just glad I found a weathering method that lets me use the brush-on top coat

Doing it with an airbrush is HELL

i would never do it with an airbrush i only use mine to apply a lot of paint to a large area at once evenly
