It's a conundrum!

Maurene Comey, daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, was the lead prosecutor in the Ghislaine Maxwell trail. She is the leader of the SDNY’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit.

In June, Comey filed a declaration to keep the FBI’s records on deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein secret, on the grounds that his former associate Maxwell could be granted a new trial soon.

Her filing actually sounds pretty reasonable to me. I wonder why they fired her?

According to previous reporting by the Washington Post, Maurene Comey was listed as one of the prosecutors who was involved in the ‘deleted’ Epstein prison footage.

Let's pretend that Maureen personally edited the footage. She didn't, but let's pretend she did.

Trump can order Bondi to release the actual footage at any time. He can reveal it all!

And yet ... That hasn't happened. The Trump administration is sticking with that video as the "raw footage".

Yes the time stamps prove 3 minutes missing on Comey's watch... very hard for some to understand that.. I got that.

Yes, Pam Bondi told us that was the raw footage. Meta data shows tis actually 3 clips stitched together with 3:53 cut from those clips, including minute where Epstein actually died. And she said that missing minute was normal.

I get that you can't admit that Trump is the source of this cover-up. You'll grab on to anything else to explain it away.

Even believing that someone who works for the US attorney office would have sole custody and control of footage from the prison system, edit the footage, and not have anyone else in the office say "That's not how this works" at any point.

Because they can prove it easily by releasing the real raw footage.

But they're never going to do that. Trump is now claiming the Epstein list is a hoax written by Obama and anyone who still believes in it is weak and not a part of MAGA.
