As the ship sailed towards the northern lands of Great Britain, many of the crew, especially the older ones, were bored to death. They’ve been sailing for 3 hours when suddenly someone shouted “Land ahead!!” and everyone shot up excited.
The Captain was in his cabin, it was pretty neatly decorated, with several paintings and valuable objects… and a jar of dirt on his desk.
The Captain stood up, drank a bottle of rum, and kissed the jar of dirt before leaving. “For luck,” he muttered. “She’s never let me down.” Then he came out of his cabin and went up the stairs to the upper deck “Listen up boys!! Humans of today are no joke! They are quite strong and really want to kill us!” He yelled. The port they were advancing towards didn't have people walking around or any activity, just a line of soldiers ready to fire.
“So do not die on me! And fight with all your strength! They may have guns! They may have armor! They may have… discipline! We have none of those things. But you know what we do have?”
Silence.
“…Rum. Rage. And zero plans.”
A hand was raised.
“Other than that, do whatever you want. SAIL ONWARDS!!!”
Everyone bursted into cheers and went to the positions, creating harpoons or swords of blood, while the captain formed a massive anchor made out of blood in his hand.
“Alright boys, meet me there!”
A spiralling red mist circled around him as he bent his knees and then he jumped high into the air with his anchor.

In the Cathedral, the Princess was walking around making sure of everyone's well-being and a guard was following her.
“My lady… are you sure about the Captain? He and his crew are just… a bunch of pirates and-”
“Do you question my decision?” She replied turning around to face the guard
“N-no no! I apologise, my lady, if it seemed that w-way” he quickly said
She giggled and continued walking.
“There's a reason why they were forced to sail far from land… their power is destructive… “

The Captain jumped from the ship to the port, and he landed striking with his anchor, creating a massive pool of blood and pushing people back like a wave.
Many soldiers rushed in to fight the captain, but he quite literally bonked them with his anchor, laughing, reducing to giblets whatever he hit with it.
Whenever he swung his anchor, a wave of blood followed his movements. The entire pavement of the port was drowned with blood, about to the shins.
The First Mate stood on the bow of the ship, pointing forward with a saber of blood, while the ship advanced at full speed towards the port.
The Captain threw his anchor onto the ship, pulling himself back onto it.
The ship, instead of crashing into the port, it rose up and sailed on land, with a sea of blood following under it.
The crewmen threw harpoons and jumped down with their swords, fighting the soldiers.

“There's lots of soldiers, what ya want me to do?” the First Mate asked
“Just circle the ship around the port, focus on supporting our mates, and stopping anyone from entering” the Captain responded while they sailed through the sea of blood on top of the port.
“And what will you do?” The First Mate questioned, and the Captain responded by pointing to some soldiers with mechanical swords and other weapons.
“Those will give us trouble, so I'll take care of em quickly, and also protect the rookie, we don't want to give him a bad impression” and then he jumped off the ship down to the place he pointed out.
The ship circled the port, crew members throwing harpoons supporting their mates on foot and blocking anyone else from entering. “How is he so strong?” Said rookie asked
The First Mate didn’t even look at him.
“He is Captain Jack Cook. The seas are his to command.”
The rookie blinked. “Is that… like, literal? Or metaphor—"
The First Mate interrupted him “Don’t ask useless questions, boy. We’ve got boarders.”
“Huh?!”
The rookie spun around
“Boarders? From where!? The docks are miles away, and we’re SAILING ON—”
A brawl broke out between soldiers and his crewmates, not with swords, but with bottle of rum.
“... they're fighting with bottles of rum.”
The First Mate turned around “Aye, ran outta harpoons on that side”
“But we make them?-”

A bottle soared through the air. CLINK. It nailed a soldier in the face. He staggered, then got tackled by two crewmates who began beating him with bar stools that weren’t there a minute ago.
“Where did they even get those?!” the rookie asked
“Ship bar. Portside.” the First Mate replied
To which the rookie asked calmly“…WE HAVE A SHIP BAR!?”
The First Mate shrugs “Course. It’s war, not barbarism.”

Back on land, one of those soldiers with mechanical weapons was fighting a crew member, when suddenly their weapon opened up, fire seeping out of it, and struck the crew member, and obliterated his sword and him. The captain landed not too far, and rushed at them, waves of blood following him.
The soldiers with those advanced weapons were called Luna09, due to their powerful weapons capable of obliterating almost anything, just like asteroids crashing down onto the moon.

The captain rushes to those men with his anchor, but surprisingly, one of the Luna soldiers knocks his anchor out of his hand with one swing.
“Oh, pretty strong ay?” He commented.
He formed a harpoon of blood, spined it around and prepared to fight, while the Luna soldier rushed at him.
The Captain deflected the first attack with a simple swing, and counterattacked by swinging his harpoon which the soldier blocked.
He continued to barrage the soldiers defense with his harpoon, which eventually the soldier broke through and tried to swing at the Captain, but he slashed away his attack and stabbed the soldier in the chest, then he made a new harpoon and dug it too into the soldier’s chest.
He raised his foot to the soldier, a wave of blood rising up with it, and he kicked off, doing a very unnecessary flip, but the wave of blood exploded, pushing away the soldier. As the Captain landed, he formed a new harpoon and threw it at another Luna soldier, pinning him to the ground.
Suddenly the Captain fell from the heavens with his anchor onto the pinned soldier, landing on his feet, he pulled the anchor over his head and smashed it in front of him, pushing the rest of the Luna soldiers away with a wave of blood.
Pulling the anchor out of the ground, he spun it around, grazing the ground towards the soldiers, which caused shards of stone from the pavement to shoot out towards the soldiers, and then smashed his anchor down once more, pushing the soldiers back with a wave of blood.

He then stood with his anchor drinking a bottle of rum, when suddenly a giant red creature burst out of the shallow blood and ate the soldiers in front of the Captain.

Another soldier rushed at him “Engaging threat vector—hostile at 12 o'clock—initiate strategic blade protocol.”
Captain: “You talk too much, mate,” bonks him with an empty glass bottle. All in the meanwhile, the crew was having the fun of their lives destroying the port and the army sent out to defend it.
The ship circling around, the crew on the ship throwing harpoons and defending from the occasional invaders on the ship, all while laughing.

The same day the news channels were flooded with the recent news of the past couple days.
-Emergency Broadcast-

*July 3rd, 3035 – 19:42 GMT*

“We interrupt regular programming with breaking updates on the escalating crisis across multiple territories.”
Behind her, footage rolls silently: Florida in flames, China covered in blood mist, and—finally—the northern British port engulfed by a literal ship surfing a crimson tide across concrete.
“Moments ago, British military outposts confirmed that the coastal town of North Hesselwick has fallen under siege by an unidentified force referred to as ‘ Blood Pirates.’”
Footage cuts to grainy drone footage of the Captain smashing an anchor into a group of soldiers, blood spraying like a fountain. A small crewmate is seen dancing in the background.
“These so-called ‘bloodfiends’—a term coined by researchers—exhibit extreme physical capabilities, rapid regeneration, and blood-based weaponry. Experts are currently debating whether their abilities are magical or biological.”
“We are also receiving *unconfirmed reports* that their leader, identifying himself only as ‘Captain Jack Cook,’ may have performed multiple somersaults while shouting ‘Anchors away, losers!’ before destroying a platoon of elite soldiers with what appears to be a comically oversized anchor made of blood.
The Ministry of National Security has urged all civilians to remain indoors, avoid any large puddles of blood, and refrain from confronting individuals with red eyes, red hair, or nautical tattoos. Oh! We have received a report that our reporters have arrived at the scene. On with you Christine.”

The footage is a shaky handheld feed. Blood mist coats the background. Distant screaming can be heard. The reporter stands in a red puddle without noticing.
“This is Christine Weller, reporting live from the northern port of Hesselwick, where government forces are currently attempting to contain the—”
A crash is heard.
A massive anchor slams down inches away from her, splashing blood like a fountain.
The Captain, bloodied, wearing a naval coat over his shoulders like a cape, grabs the microphone.
He looks straight into the camera, grinning.
“Ayyyy! What’s good, world?! It’s ya boy, Captain Jack Cook!”
He throws his anchor to the ground, with a large crash.
“Let me set the record straight: this ain’t no raid. This is just the warm-up! The seas are rising, boys—and we’re takin’ the whole damn world with us!”
The reporter comments off-mic, a bit horrified:
“W-What-?”

The Captain ignores her and adds “I know, I know, the Princess told me not to mess with the news. ‘Jack, don’t talk to reporters!’ ‘Jack, don’t declare war on live television!’ But COME ON, where’s the fun in that, eh?”
He gestures behind him where his crew is doing flips off the ship and high-fiving mid-battle.
The Captain starts speaking again with:
“Humans, bloodfiends, aliens—don’t care. War’s here, lads. So polish yer boots, load yer harpoons, and tell yer mum you love her… because we’re comin’!”
He sips his rum, smashes the bottle on the ground, and hands the microphone back like nothing happened.
The captain cheerfully adds
“Cheers, love. You’re doin’ great.”
He leaps high into the air, vanishing off-screen with a trail of red mist.
“…I-I believe we’ve just… heard a formal declaration of war… from a pirate.”
Silence. A bottle crashes somewhere behind her.

The visual cuts back to the main news.
“...In related news, the Hair Dye Manufacturers’ Union has filed an official protest regarding the temporary ban on red pigments, calling it quote: ‘unjust discrimination and a gross overreach of pirate-related policy.’”
*A sidebar reads: “Red Hair Sales Plummet 98%. Pink, up 400%.”*
“Further analysis on this situation will follow after the break."

On the whole scene, from afar, a shadowy figure looks at the carnage of the crew. And then disappears
