So I wanted to make a pokemon fan game a while ago that dipped into darker aspects of the pokemon games and ended up with this lore drop

the game is called pokemon abyss, and it’s played in a region that was (PRESUMABLY) sunken by kyoger long ago during one of its beefing sessions with Groundon

You play as an underwater researcher studying the history and culture of this region

And while doing that you discover hundreds (round 170 new pokemon) of new species of Pokemon

One of those new pokemon you find is a legendary Pokemon that is actually responsible for the sinking of the region (I didn’t find a name in my notes)

The lore of this specific legendary I never got the chance to write if I’m remembering correctly but basically once you catch it or defeat it you do some more digging and find out that the region goes all the way down for **7 MILES**

Such pressure would collapse your organs so you…send your partner pokemon down there with a camera just to find out that the legendary wasn’t the big bad of the game as you see a shadow lurking before the camera feed cuts out and your partner pokemon…well…To put it lightly they went to go meet arceus

...besides sending your partner Pokemon to meet Arceus, very good concept!

It’s for plot basically…when you end up getting worried for your partner pokemon and find diving gear to get down there you end up finding the camera but your buddy is nowhere in sight when you eventually find the thing responsible for your Pokémon’s disappearance you can see a pile of bones in its cave that have the bow that was on your Pokémon’s ear in the center of the ribcage which absolutely breaks you’re spirit and your teammates have to drag you back to the surface forcibly
