The main problem with the average Useful Idiot liberal/progressive/leftist is that a proposal that on paper MIGHT seem like a good ideal with limitations in place get pushed through with ZERO limitations and then grows to become a toxic national nightmare a few years or decades down the line.
This happens with dreary predictability . . . which is probably WHY most leftists have got no use for the meaningful lessons of history. Anyone studying history could have easily predicted what the assault on the the extended family concept would lead to down the line -- a general breakdown of morality and shattered families -- but all the Useful Idiot types really cared about was their self-righteous virtue-signaling.
