lol my comment was reported and deleted because I believe we should talk about the entire spectrum of slavery the berber Nth African Islamic slave trade AND the European slave trade at public schools for give a more rounded perspective rather than pigeon hole the conversation with only one stance the BLM stance not the WLM stance...and someone reported it as RACIST....
so thats where we are at socially in society, its that bad and thats how important this conversation really is.
Because 1 side really doesnt want to hear about the brutality of the Mediterranean slave trade they only want to hear about the French, Spanish, English, Portugese slave colonial trade. Not the Islamic , Nth African mediterranean slave trade that was JUST as brutal and horrid as the Atlantic slave trade.
THIS is why this history lessons at public schools NEEDS to be fleshed out and the British channel and Mediterranean slave trade needs to be on the SAME level as the Atlantic slave trade, as BOTH were just as evil...and JUST SAYING this , someone reported me...just talking about the other side of the trade which was Nth Africans Berbers and Ottomon Empire enslaving British and Irish and Icelandic and Italian and Greek island coastal people. They dont even want to HEAR about it, tehy ONLY want to hear about the British colonial trade evil and not hear about Nth AFRICAN Islamic berber slave trade....thats not good for children to only hear 1 trade to suit their narrative they want to TEACH.
That meens the entire conversation needs to be taught IN SCHOOL historically ACCURATELY on ALL sides, the entire spectrum so kids understand that theres more to the slave trade than the Atlantic slave trade. What was happening, why it was happening, how it happened, WHERE it happened. Who was in charge of it, what role did the Royal families in Britain play AND what role did the Ottomon Empire and Berber sultans play in THEIR OWN slave piracy trade in the mediterranean and British channels. Both evils on both ssides need to be discussed IF African studies are going to be taught.
If you can be BANNED from even mentioning the Berber British/Irish/Icelandic british channel slave trade. Then theres a GIANT problem...where millions of coastal villages in Britain and medieterranean were RAIDED at the SAME time the Nigerian slaves were SOLD to the French, Portugese and English and Spanish by the Nigerian chiefs who got rich off of it and were complicit in the crime.
