The cuts don't take effect until FY2026. So, yes, that would be evidence they didn't have an effect. And the cuts aren't a blanket effect on all NWS services at all local offices. They are to nonsense like funding research into how climate changes disproportionately affect nonbinary PoC in the Portland office, not standard services like issuing flood warnings from the San Antonio office.
