The saddest part of that is many leftists probably know that their own politicians -- and most certainly their bought and paid for media outlets -- are playing them; but as long as they are cynically being told what they collectively WANT to hear, then all is fine with their little Marxist-minded pocket universes.

I agree. There’s only a small percentage of the Democrat electorate who would ever be capable of realizing what the party is really doing and leave. The rest will follow them no matter what leftist garbage they keep feeding them.
