But your title is an oversimplification. If someone tells you that you aren't good enough for something, you will prove that you are IF AND ONLY IF you disagree with that someone. But if you agree with someone who tells you that you aren't good enough for something, you won't try to change their mind or prove them wrong. You'll just walk away.

Thanks, it is just a headline, meant to be short. I also wanted to say, when you tell someone that you can’t have something, they want it more. And FDR administration made marijuana illegal. Because they believed “when black men smoke marijuana, they think that they are as good as whites.”
