Why do we trust our doctor to diagnose and treat? Who is responsible? The FDA who approves a drug or medical device, from a billion dollar monster pharmicutal company, which has super speed avenues to get a drug approved based on grandfathered drug approval on similar drugs, skipping testing and safety protocols, then they turn around and promote the doctor to prescribe a particular drug. The doctor might be ill informed by the company regarding the safety, or workings of a medical device or drug, so when the patient has a complication that wasn't warned by the doctor, and pharmicutal company literature, they are not able to go after the company who failed to warn the doctor and patients due to a stupid law in certain states. You would have to sue the doctor who then would have to sue the company and in a world of wtf is happening to our medical industry, the pharmicutal company and medical workers are untouchable because over 100 different law scenarios can be debated and applied to a trial in different states. On a federal level we don't have laws protecting pharmicutal harm towards individuals in all 50 states. The law of the land regarding pharmicutal harm has yet to be defined and applied to all 50 states.
