Yep. They weren't great in lots of ways, I agree. Could definitely do better than Sleepy Joe. The Afghanistan withdrawal was arguably a disaster. 20 years down the drain, how much money, and how many US service personnel died for that? Longest war in US military history and now we've got the Taliban back. Good job, folks. They really screwed up on that one. (So take note, Trump: try not to make the same mistake. You don't want to start a ground invasion of Iran. It won't end well. But what do I know?)

It's all swings and roundabouts/a wash. Trump might well achieve a few good things (I've no doubt he will, even leaving aside the stuff he'll just claim he achieved in his bombastic way), but will also f**k up quite a few others (and of course it depends who you are: one side might improve things for some groups and screw things up for others, and vice versa). Just like Biden did achieve some good things, but wasn't exactly the dream president.
