The thing is. It had ppls names and ages. He had to put in his age. Gender. And location. He sent it to his po box and not his actual house. He brought them back to his house to unbox them. They obviously had blood on them. And he later found out there was a tracking device planted on/in the shoes

So you have heard of it
Yes, but isnt it a bit odd how he said that the website had been "taken down" when people started thinking he made this up?

I mean. You can't really just search for a dark website. Most of the times your device has a code that will tell you if the site is dangerous or not.
I mean he is a "celebrity" so he could possibly have connections with ppl who can make websites for him (or he could do it himself)
Or the website owner/owners got scared because the public found out about the said website and took it down. That has happened in the past with creepy websites

The last sentence is possible. Im still suspicious though

And your device can potentially just not fully load the dark website or just kick you off of it. Depending on what device you use.
If you use a phone to look it up (which most people probably used) it will show a white screen stating that the website is dangerous and to exit out of it.

Really? How do people manage to access it though?

Its actually pretty difficult to access the dark web. You have to go through fire walls and basically just ignore the warnings. Theres a higher chance for your device to get hacked if you are on the dark web. And theres a higher chance for you to get a virus from the dark web.
If you do get a virus you're screwed.
Most dark websites are forums

No 4chan was hacked. The hack killed the website and they shut it down forever. The last post to ever be on the site was a user saying "what the f**k is going on" and someone replied with the chicken jockey imagine.

The hacker, who made all leaks visible on soyjak.st, did not expose individual user data.

Only the site janitors' and 4chan's code (called Yotsuba) got doxed/leaked. The hacker did not leak anything from users, their explicit goal was to cause ruination to the site janitors only

No users were affected in the hack

Not true 😭

Lmao no, 4chan was not permanently hacked (the site only went down for ~2 weeks), the hack was done by a soyjak party user because 4chan had gradually become enshittified over time and because the site janitors had closed the /qa/ board (a board that soyjak party users originally used a lot)

There was a lot of leaks from the hack. And ppl where doxed from it too. I dont really think ppl are gonna go back on it

From what I've seen, most people that get doxed/harassed on 4chanKiwi Farms/soyjak.party tend to deserve it
For example, if you look at soyjak.party's /raid/ board (the board used for doxing) almost all posts on it specifically pertain to pedophiles

Well i just saw a p**is i think thats enough
1 up, 9mo
Yeah please don't look at what's in those threads themselves since the minimum age for the site is 16 I'm just showing that in most cases the doxing victim tends to be a pedo/zoo/etc.

It's not an inherently "dangerous" site it's literally just an anonymous imageboard site where you can basically post anything except illegal content. The site itself is not inherently evil
[deleted] M

People can still post illegal stuff on there tho. Its not really monitored

Gore is illegal. And there has been a lot of gore posted onto 4chan and the ppl who post it can do it without any trouble bc its anonymous
2 ups, 9mo
Photography of mutilation (which is gore) itself actually isn't illegal, only the act in the mutilation is. Spreading photography of mutilation does not fall under obscenity laws as being illegal.

Also, "anonymous" doesn't mean shit, because the way the Internet works is that you literally give a website your IP address simply by connecting to it. 4chan's site moderation has collaborated with the authorities in many ways whenever a substantial amount of illegal content has been posted on there by giving the authorities the poster's IP address.

Tor is a browser that basically lets you access webpages that would be considered part of the dark web
