If they had nuclear devices they'd bomb us even if we weren't involved, if they thought they could get away with it. Especially if we had a joke of a POTUS that could be walked over like Biden, who blindly signed a nuclear deal between russia and iran without even knowing the terms. If that hadnt happened, we might not even be in this mess rn
