tygre was originally a stray cat living in an alleyway in Tokyo, but she often ventured out into the brightly lit city at night, searching for food, she was incredibly aggressive, and was only ever mildly approachable when she was too tired to fight. but one day, she was caught, and deemed "unadoptable" and was taken into a veterinary room for euthanasia, she was hissing, scratching, biting, running around, not knowing what was going on, just thinking "what did I do? why are they trying to kill me?" until one of the veterinarians grabbed her, and finally injected the euthanasia, and she went limp, but then something unexpected happened, her spirit broke free, a humanoid with tiger stripes, and began beating the everloving shit out of the veterinarians that euthanized her, and made a run for it, and then later haunted an old Airbnb.
Tygre is a posthumous nekomata, but she died too early to develop cat features, unlike her mother, who died long before she did, tygre's mom has a red Jaguar pattern, a long with the traditional nekomata features, cat ears, and 2 tails, because tygre's mom lived long enough to have her spirit fully developed. but tygre's physical body died at around 17, and she is currently 19.
tygre ended up in New York by climbing into a sofa, sleeping there, and ended up on a cargo ship, which was going to new York. and afterward, tygre woke up, in an apartment, but tygre was attracted to an energy signature just a block away, right at the firehouse / Ghostbusters HQ, coming from the proton weapons, tygre was messing with it, but ended up actually infusing with the subatomic particle's energy. and she basically now lives in the walls and eating food scraps like a rat, and tygre ALSO SOMEHOW HAS A JOB AT MCDONALDS. tygre somehow got the job, like just, yeah.
