One could quote Michael Jackson and say "They don't really care about us"

No company sells pride merch or connects to any movement because it's the right thing to do. They do it because it will make them money.

Target is the perfect example- they used to put pride merch out so anyone could see (and buy it). But the moment they thought the political winds had shifted, it disappeared.

No corporation is "woke", despite what MAGA thinks. Never forget that.

Another issue is that they overdo the "woke" politics in a way that discourages people who want to support them from doing so. You can have an LGBTQ+ character in a work of fiction, but you can't make them overpowered without proper character development, nor can you make their gender their whole personality. True justice is treating them with equal respect to your straight characters.
