The lady sliced the bullet with her hand, shaking her head.
The hunter tried to hit her with his gun, with his incredible speed, although the lady simply side-stepped away.
“I was thinking…” the lady said while the hunter continued trying to hit her, alternating between blunt force and shooting her.
“I was thinking to torture you a bit for trying to murder me, and maybe then let you go…”
When the hunter swung his gun, she grabbed it, crushing it.
Her voice turned cold “But you killed one of my Kin, so I'll take your heart as compensation”
Before the hunter could react, a cold hand dug into his chest, gripping his heart.
The lady pulled his heart out of his chest, leaving the hunter to fall on the ground.
“It has been a long time since my Children have feasted… you'll make up the perfect meal~”
As the hunter extinguished his final breaths, he saw the lady drink blood from his heart and all the guards jump him, biting, sucking blood, scratching.
After the carnage had happened, there left a completely dry corpse, the lady cleaned her mouth with a handkerchief, and sat on her throne.
“Humans… are so weak… Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had the world to ourselves?~”
“More will come… stronger ones, and I won't let my Kin die one by one…” she said with a cold voice, yet caring.
One of the closest guards responded
“My lady, are you suggesting we abandon our home? And go to war with the humans?”
“There are so many of us out there, hidden in the shadows… afraid to die… but it takes 5 experienced humans just to take down one inexperienced bloodfiend. And it takes ten times more to kill a warrior. To kill a Capo of a clan… it'd take thousands more than a skilled hunter…” the lady firmly stated.
The guard responded confused
“But my Lady, but our clan is small, and we lost one of our brothers… How can we fight millions of humans?”
The lady’s response was a warm laugh.
“Oh my Child, my Child… I don't mean a war between our clan and the humans…~ we are all around the Earth… all of Us are going to war… Hehe!~ I think it's time that we stepped out of the shadows~”
Another of the guards added “I'll send a letter to the other clans informing of this decision” and he walked off.
The lady rested her chin on her hand, as she smirked. A smirk of one that knows they will win.
Her name was… Carmilla Báthory. A First Kin, and the Princess of Bloodveil.
