I'm glad you think its an extraterrestrial landscape. I'm trying to make the point that we have some pretty weird landscapes on Earth. There is so much to discover here on Earth...even the oceans are yet to be fully explored. Why do we search outer space?

But yeah! I also like that. Especially since it would keep resources on Earth and stuff. But I think those guys believe the Earth will be doomed at some point. So if something happened, we'd have a second home. So yeah... Especially since some space phenomenon like neutron stars exist... and the only way to survive those is literally get away from it. Also because a lot of people believe Earth is cooked or we may run out of resources so we'll have to got somewhere else. That's a more thought out answer and the most you'll get out of me. Lol.

Someone once told me, "You can run but the issue will always follow you." We'll just screw up another planet. We need to fix our home here. And, haven't you seen all those sci-fi movies where only the rich move off earth and use the poor to be working class slaves?

Oh yeah. But I'm gonna be rich so... I'm all in favor /jk . But yes. Running is giving up. In some cases you can only run. And if we do... We'll literally lose technological progress if the new environment can't support us. So we have to adapt. And that'll take a while. Or it will increase if the environment gives us way better stuff. It's all a gamble unfortunately.

It's really not a gamble. At this point, there is enough science to point the way. And we can continue to heal as we go.

True, assuming we know enough. Or if the aliens let us. I still think human nature is unpredictable and it's scary what some people would do.
