Veto Power

Giving the 5 nations of the Security Council with nuclear weapons veto power was a pretty dumb move from Day 1 and undermines the entire mission of the UN and renders it functionally useless in most international conflicts. CMV. Countries with veto power can get away with whatever they want and veto any action just because they happened to be nuclear powers when it was founded.

We need a new UN. This is bullshit. Absolutely undemocratic.

Give the most powerful nuclear-armed states veto power, when it's those very states that often pose the most threat to global stability. Great move, UN. It's a farce.

The UN can't do shit when shit goes down. It just looks on powerlessly. Why is it even a thing?

It does some good charity work. But as a global peace-keeping force, it's worthless. Reform it now.
