Basing your morality on unrelated Bible verses taken out of context that were written thousands of years ago that relate to an entirely different context, and not modern international law or morality.
Please explain how my comment makes no sense. And yes, I am very much a mortal and I don't expect to live forever. I don't believe in an afterlife either. You get one shot, so make the most of it, I guess.
