IT’S A BAD REMAKE. As a fan of the original Monkey Ball games, this game is a horrible translation to modern systems. And it’s a shame that people will experience this instead of the originals and therefore think less of the franchise.
It ruins the physics, the minigame design, the cutscenes, and the story.
But at the same time, it didn’t cut out any of the content. Maybe a lot of it was downgraded, but it was still there. And upon my replay, I had a pretty okay time with it for what it was. It has well over 200 stages, 12 minigames, and a lot of extra modes to spice things up. The one thing it DOES cut out is the original soundtrack which is behind a paywall.
