Slavery was a Democrat “mess”. Republicans cleaned up that one. Teddy Roosevelt desegregated the military and government buildings. Wilson cleaned up that mess by desegregating them. After WWI Democrats wanted a stimulus package which would have caused inflation. Republicans cut spending, resulting in Roaring Twenty’s. FDR had a problem, Chinese and blacks were working for less than whites. So he started the Minimum Wage Act. So people would rather hire white workers. Ended the problem of minorities taking white jobs. Systemic racism still in place. LBJ as Senate leader blocked Eisenhower’s Civil Rights Act in 1958. That fixed what? Read some history yourself.
