Also, I'm curious as to what people use as well. Lego used Beepbox (i think it was called that) for a bit, but then switched into Logic as he has more choices there.
I would use Logic myself. Problems are 1)lack of skill (luckily YT!) and 2) need a melody...

I use beepbox to make the song because of the ability to switch between different keys, then i move over to Logic pro for the better instruments and control
