Also Trump is the first US president in decades to try to reform how the government gets its money (bc our system is stupid and politicians have no idea how to run an economy).
For decades, our government has been tarriffed egregiously by other countries, and we just let them do that even though we have all the leverage we need to make them stop. Other countries sell products to us, and we rarely sell things to other countries. If you go to Europe, you will never see an American car, bc they don't buy them. Even our own companies make everything in China. And then to get our own companies' products, we have to pay shipping fees and everything. And guess where all that comes from? Since we don't get much external income, the government takes it from the American workers. (And it got worse after Biden gave Putin our oil line [which was our biggest external income source], leading to Europe getting their oil from China instead of the US, which made China wealthier than us in weeks).
So basically, our government gets used like a piggy bank by the rest of the world, and then they get their money by taxing all their own people excessively. Last year, we were paying almost 50% of our income in taxes, which was infuriating especially bc overinflation was making it difficult for young ppl to even afford to start a life. Everyone has to stay at home with their parents (even if they really need to get away from them).
What Trump is trying to do is motivate companies to move their factories back to the US and sell things to other countries in higher quality, and fund our government through trading with other countries; that way the government doesn't need to tax us excessively. Every other country does this. We have been the wealthiest country in the world for a century until 2021. Why can't we do the same?
The reason is bc since the 40s, we've had people on the inside trying to sabotage our country bc it's the world's last hope against globalist dictatorship aspirations, and if we fall, everyone falls. Hitler and Stalin may have died, but their globalist goals never did. And the people behind this know they can't take the US head on, so they decided to destroy it from the inside. They took control of the media, the education system (the father of modern American education was literally considered a hero to Stalin) and the cultural zeitgeist. And if it weren't for someone like Trump, they probably would have succeeded by now. Trump managed to beat all that.
