those damn orange cats

Personally my Turkish Angora is orange and white and a spiteful piece of crap so maybe the breed is a thing but I've had other orange cats and they're usually just nuts but I have also heard siamese are sincere turds and very jealous so good point on siamese. Orange Angoras are turds but that's not specific to just orange ones it's the whole breed🤣

I’ve had a couple orange and white tabbies. One was mostly quiet but could start wailing at a moment’s notice. The other one was a small male orange tabby and he could get pretty wild sometimes. He loved to climb on my shoulders whenever I was cleaning out his litter box. He would start wailing if I didn’t pay attention to him like he wanted. I miss both of those cats. They were great.

That sounds like personal experience

I knew a lady who had a Siamese cat when I was a child. It was a snobby thing, the way that it carried itself around the house. It was never friendly. Siamese cats seem to have that reputation. I know that they’re not all like that, of course.

I may be influenced by the Siamese cats in the film Lady And The Tramp !
The only one that I met had the loudest of meows

They tend to have loud meows and are very chatty. Angoras are chatty like Tonkinese and Snowshoes but not super loud. Tonkinese is a mix of siamese and something else and Snowshoes were an accident that happened with some siamese cats bred with... hm can't recall. But tonks aren't loud but talk a lot. Angoras have an entire range of meow types depending on what they're after. They also answer when you speak to them. They'll caterwaul like they're dying to get attention. Now my big Snowshoe tonk mix does this with a toy mouse in his mouth. He learned from the Angora how to be a more efficient bastard.🤣 He buries the Angora's poop for him while Angora watches🤣

I’ve never had any exotic cats like that. Mostly tabbies, tuxedos and Bombays. A couple of calicos. My tuxedo gets pretty loud in his own right. Probably not as loud as yours.

I was pre-teen when it came out and I loved it. I recall one that I believe came out in the 70's I loved and watched as a child from Australia called Dot and the Kangaroo. You ever see that? Sad at end and still remember that music.

I mean when I saw it. Didn't know that came out so far back. I saw it first in 1990. Was there another earlier version of it?🤔

It’s probably been at least 25 years since I’ve watched the entire movie. Just clips of it since then. It’s a classic.

No… I guess things were different back then. Not as much concern for germs. I’m sure that them being dogs made it more acceptable.

Yeah for me likely not after 1992 at the latest.. Did you ever see one that I believe came out in the 70's from Australia called Dot and the Kangaroo? I watched it on vhs a lot as a kid in the 80's. Never forgot the sad ending of kangaroo going back to the woods and the music. Also another I enjoyed was called Secret of Nymn.

I’ve never seen Dot and the Kangaroo, but it sounds like I should see it. I love The Secret of Nimh. I’ve seen it several times. Have you seen the animated film of Watershp Down?

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Watership Down. Different tv networks in the U.S. used to show it on occasion after it debuted, It originally came out in 1978, six years after the book came out. I first watched it back in the late 80s, when I was a kid.

I'll be 46 in JUly so I was an 80's child and a 90's teen.

I have no clue how the u and l were caps in July. Must've held the cap lock down. haha oh well
