All I'm saying is that you shouldn't have statues that are like "This guy owned slaves, he was a hero". They should be more like "this guy owned slaves, he existed"
I haven’t see every statue in America that has since been removed, but I do not think I ever saw one that had a sign calling him a slave owner and a hero. They were removed simply because someone had their feelings triggered.
