For some reason, too many people hate Disney live-action movies. Not just the live-action remakes Disney has made of their animated movies, but all Disney live-action movies, period.
Their thought process is, simply put: "Disney should always do animation and never do live-action! How dare they broaden their skill set and make movies with real physical props, real wearable costumes, and worst of all, real living breathing human beings!"
When you look at Belle on the cover for the 1991 Disney animated movie "Beauty And The Beast", you're looking at a painting. When you look at Anna on the cover of the 2013 Disney animated movie "Frozen", you're looking at a computer rendering. When you look at Emily on the cover of the 2005 Warner Brothers stop-motion (aka claymation) animated movie "Corpse Bride", you're looking at a lump of clay. When you look at Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) on this poster and other posters for "The Princess Diaries", you're looking at a real, actual, living, breathing, flesh-and-blood human being. You're looking at somebody's daughter, somebody's wife, and most recently, somebody's mother.
