also, “will also probably attempt genocide later” is not a proof of facism. It’s not even a fallacy, it’s just an unsubstantiated claim. However, there are some valid claims that at least superficially are similar. However, MANY countries (such as England, France, Mexico, and many other countries) have tariffs on imports. This is kind of like the “hitter’s dog” fallacy (hitler had a dog, you have a dog, ergo, you support hitler)

Also, technically, in this comment, you are demonizing YOUR opposition, which according to your meme, makes YOU nazi adjacent. I am not opposed to the spirit behind this meme, just the bad examples you used. Debate is foundational to a free society, and pattern recognition is a helpful historic tool in debate. You have to make sure, though, that when you accuse someone of being a nazi, that you don’t use arguments that aren’t so broad that you include most political leaders that are alive in the world, even those you support. :)

also, in order to make your point, you should not put that the communists where evil as well, since that distracts from the betrayal. If you say this, it makes it look like a good thing, since one should not be allied with barbarians. Adding that the Communist russia was brutal and bloodthirsty, makes it also look like trump is doing the right thing in “betraying America’s longstanding allies” since you comment implies that your former allies are also bloodthirsty. Your argument could be a solid comparison, but you need to just edit it a bit to let it shine. :)

(you cant have your argument make it look like the nazis betrayed communist Russia BECAUSE they were bloodthirsty if you are trying to convey that the nazis were evil)
