I had a cat who lived to just chill in the refrigerator.
The first time he went in, he wouldn’t budge coming out. So I shut the door on him for 30 seconds. He still didn’t wanna come out. Let him stay in there for about 10 or 15 minutes before he decided “OK I’ll come out.” It was one of his favorite places. Sometimes he would even stay in for 30 minutes. But you couldn’t get him to come out until he was ready. Even if I tried pulling him, he would fight to stay in.
