On hard, more mobs spawn underground and they hit like a truck

And skeletons, slimes (if ur in a slime chunk), creepers and Enderman

zombies dont drop leather

It’s hard to get IRON if there are a lot of hostile mobs in the caves

im talking about generation, monsters arent that much of a big deal, you can just build up or use a lava bucket or whatever

just use a shield
